For some much needed wine drinking, and confidence boosting, and venting, before I head into my crazy work schedule for the next few months. Which will probably include little sleep and few social hours.
oh well.
Here’s to earning that exhausted feeling at the end of the day.
The Apology Section:
-Dear Neighbors,
I sincerely apologize for this the events of this morning. I found myself wide away, pre-8:00, which is extremely uncommon. In fact, I found myself widely awake a good half hour prior to my coffee pot turning on. (ah the wonders of pre-set timers). So, after manually activating my coffee pot, I found myself with 10 minutes of seemingly useable time. (Because who can really function before coffee anyways?)
And that’s when it started. I sat down. Turned the keyboard on. And proceeded to go through about 30 hymns from the badly worn, possibly stolen, hymnal I had lying around from my mother’s church.
So I apologize, sincerely. For waking you all up, on a Sunday, pre-8a.m. with my impromptu church service.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Sincerely,
The tiny.apartment at the end of the hall.

ps: I think it’s safe to say that this letter also serves as an apology for continually playing “Send in the Clowns” at the end of every session. I just like it so much.

Living the life kids.
Now to squeeze in a few more rows and another episode before hoppin’ the 30 to campus. 6 days left at the sandwich shop, 4 days until my last final. 7 days until it dawns on me what decisions I’ve made, and how difficult and tiring these next 8 months are going to be. ha.
A friend referred to my apartment as ‘very colorful, always very colorful’
I’m not sure what he meant by it. Or if I was to be offended or not.
But I wasn’t.
What’s wrong with a little bit of color in the world?
I like it.

Be still, my beating heart.
My mom broke one of her bowls the last time I was home. After enough wine, I found myself tearing up while looking at it’s broken remains sitting in a paper bag by the back door; I was hoping to inherit those one day.
